One of the bests texts on operational amplifier circuits, ever!

Imagine someone with a very strong technical grasp of his subject, but also gifted with the writing prowess of a poet, and you will have some idea of my esteem for this author and his outstanding work. If you are learning how operational amplifier circuits work, and why, you would be hard-pressed to find a better book to start with than this one. Add it to your personal library, if you are fortunate enough to find a used copy!
To give you some sense of Smith's purpose in writing this book (sampled from the Preface):
"The argument is set forth in English and in Graphics. Some electrical knowledge is presupposed, but it is thoughe to be of the axiomatic kind that is difficult to avoid in an electrified culture. Indeed, half-serious thought was given to the subtitle: `Ohm's Law with Applications.' . . . Here is the hardware end of a part of Norbert Wiener's science. The book seeks to be practical by providing the most practical of all commodities -- insight."
